João Pedro Tenreiro is a Portuguese DJ a.k.a. Jota. He discovered trance when going to his first party in 2012. He immediately fell in love with the music and all the culture that surrounds it. Since then he’s been listening to trance from morning to night, learned about it’s different genres, producers, DJs, parties and festivals which he frequently attends.
Jota considers trance to be one family where there are no separations by social status or race. We are all equals as one, we are love. With friends at home Jota started playing around with mixing, but being a perfectionist led him to seek out and complete a DJ course. From there was born the DJ Psy Trance project, Electric Jota which was debuted in 2015. In 2019 he joined Reversible Records.
